I know our building was dirty and many items have been
overlooked in the last year or so. But, I never expected to see the
impact of your cleaning make such a difference in our facility!!
I've had nothing but many compliments about "how nice things look",
"how clean the bathrooms look", "can these guys come to my house?".
I even took the time last night to tell Sarunas and Peter and the
other gentleman that was working here last night how good
everything looks.

When I come in the morning this office smells clean. The bathroom
floors are spotless. The floors in the exam rooms shine like they
are new. What a great cleaning crew!!!!!!

To Whom It May Concern,
Cardinal Building Maintenance, Inc has proven to be an exemplary
partner in helping me to achieve the LEED goals of our
client. The client is a Fortune 500 company with an office in
Southeastern Illinois. They are doubling the size of their
facility with warehouse and office space and are seeking LEED for
New Construction silver certification. Cardinal already
had the contract for the existing facility and they were also
awarded the contract for the new facility. I thought I was
going to have to completely revamp the cleaning companies program
to get them to comply with the Innovation in Design Green Cleaning
Package I had put together for the project. I went to their
office for an initial meeting and they blew me out of the water.
Not only did they have a superior Green Cleaning program already in
place, but they had all of the documentation put together for me on
my arrival. I had very little work to do to put the credit
together, and had to request very few modifications to get it ready
for presentation to the US Green Building Council. Please
find below the write-up I have done on Cardinal that is being
submitted with the Green Cleaning documentation for the LEED
seeking project:
"Green Cleaning Program - The cleaning company
that has the contract to existing building and new addition is
Cardinal Building Maintenance, Inc. They have put in place a
Green Cleaning Program that is being utilized in the existing
facility and is going to be extended into the new facility upon
completion. Cardinal Building Maintenance
utilizes the Johnson Diversey Healthy High Performance Cleaning
Program specifically for their clients with sustainability in
mind. Upon touring their facility I was impressed to see
their state of the art training area for training their site
personnel in a variety of cleaning scenarios. They have a
comprehensive training program developed specifically for this type
of client and it is called "The Art of Green Cleaning Training", it
trains on the specified systems, chemical systems, and equipment
that are required of this program. Cardinal developed this
specific program to reduce environmental impact by utilizing
environmentally friendly cleaning chemicals, equipment, and
materials."
I would recommend Cardinal to any client with sustainability in
mind, regardless if they were building a new facility or just
trying to upgrade their operations on an existing facility. I
cannot stress enough what a pleasure it was to work with a company
that already had it all figured out and put together.
