A high standard of training leads to consistency. This process
starts with our human resource department and Cardinal's hiring
practices. Next, interactive training starts in our
1,000ft-training auditorium. The second phase is completed in our
2,000ft-training center. The hands-on facility is complete with
exam room, offices, washroom, lunchroom, tiled and carpeted
surfaces as well as a custodial closet. In this second phase of
training, employees actually perform the tasks that they will be
responsible for in the field. Ongoing training and educational
programs are held at our facilities throughout the year. These
programs include safety, green innovations, slip and fall
prevention, management opportunities, discrimination and much
more.
Every Cardinal employee receives intensive training in
procedures, equipment, supplies, maintenance, and safety.
